我喜欢万年青，你知道我为什么喜欢它么，别急，让我来慢慢告诉你。

它的干有些发白，有20厘米多长，像一个拳头那么粗，上面带有许多“皱纹”。在树干的顶部长出了三个稍粗的树杈，长约10厘米，从上面又长出了许多不到5厘米的很细的树杈。而且，干和杈上都有许多结，非常奇妙。要是把那些结去掉，那就成了杨树的缩身。

它的叶子长在树杈的两旁，它们十几片叶子长在一起，有几片在旁边围着，中间有两片叶子，那两片叶子下面在一起贴着，上面开着，像是一个小嫩芽。它们都是绿色的，上面很大，下面很小，上面是圆形的，下面时尖的，像一个小巴掌。它的叶子很粗，大约有2毫米厚，里面有许多水分，话也落下来后，半年后也不会干枯。

它也能开花，但开的时候很少，除非你把花拿到外面暴晒，才能开花，它开的花很松散，是白色的，远远望去，像是一堆白雪。

万青年不怕水，不怕旱，象征着我们中华民族不管在什么条件下都能生存。

万年青，它就是这么的坚强，不怕风吹雨打。
